Cohort 12A: Assignment. Invite others to take part in the next training Cohort 12B
Greetings
Here is more about taking part in the next training Cohort and how to invite others.
Part of building a Culture of Empathy is to invite others to take part in an Empathy Circle you host.
Another part is to invite people to take part in the Empathy Circle Facilitator Training so they will be able to facilitate their own Empathy Circles. One assignment during the training is to try and invite another person to take part in the next training cohort 12B..

While everyone is welcome, to take part in Cohort 12B Series, we especially want to invite Pandemic Professors to take part. Also we hope you will take the training again so that you can learn to become a Trainer of the training. We would like to support you in being able to train Pandemic Professors and others in how to be an Empathy Circle Facilitator.
( ) 1. Take the Training Again, and Again and Again... Until You Can Train Others.
We want to give preference to participants already in the Cohort Series and their personal friends that they invite to take part in the next Cohort. If you would like to continue with the series, sign up as soon as possible. Once the spaces are taken, the Cohort is locked.
What role do you want to take in the next cohort?
Your training in Module 1 is not completed until you can train others and produce trainings. Here are the roles to learn.
( ) Participant - Step 1 is to start as a participant learning to be an Empathy Circle Facilitator.
( ) Trainee - Step 2, become a trainee to learn how to be a trainer.
( ) Floater (multiple roles) fills in if people don’t show up, etc.
( ) Trainer - Train participants and trainees.
( ) Producer Trainee - learn how to setup and and host training Cohorts.
( ) Producer - responsible for setting up and organizing training Cohorts.
( ) Designer - Create and expand on the training curriculum. Design new training Modules.
( ) 2. Here are some steps to take to Invite Friends
1. ( ) Personally Invite Your Friends
Personally share with your friends how much you enjoyed and learned from taking the training. Invite them to take part.
Send them an email with the signup information.
2. ( ) Promote to Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
Each Cohort Series has both a Facebook and LinkedIn Event about it. See
Steps on Facebook and LinkedIn
Here are ways to spread the word about the next Cohorts on these platforms.
( ) Signup as Going to the Event for your Cohort.
If you are on these social media platforms, you can click the going button on each event.
( ) Invite Friends to Each Event
Go ahead and invite all your friends. It is a good way to make them aware of the importance of empathy and the training event. See the How To Video
( ) Facebook lets you invite about 500 friends to an Event.
( ) LinkedIn lets you invite up to 1,000 friends to an Event!
( ) Share the Event on your Person Page.
Go to the event share button and share it to your personal page. It will show up in your news feed and your friends will see it.
( )Share to Facebook and LinkedIn Groups
There are many groups on a wide range of topics on Facebook and LinkedIn. You can post to these.
5. ( ) Write an Article
You can write an article about your experience and post it. Here is a good example. “Learning on the go: my experience with empathy circles for system sensing and building connection” by Zainab Kakal
6. ( ) Think of other ways to get the word out.
Think about other ways to invite friends, colleagues, etc. to join the next training Cohort.
Make a note of them, try them out and share them with the Cohort.
7. ( ) > Report back on how it went in the next Session.
Report back at the start of the next Session on your efforts to invite people to the next Cohort.
Share your experience.
What have been the challenges?
What have been the successes?
Warmly
