Building a Culture of Empathy Together
Greetings All
( ) 1. Session 5
Our final Session is coming up next week. In this session we will focus on
integrating your learnings.
hearing your feedback 'testimonials' on the training,
hearing your ideas and plans for next steps for building a more empathic culture.
( ) 2. Fill Out Session Feedback Survey
Please submit feedback regarding the Empathy Circle Facilitator Training Session that you have just completed. Post any questions and we will try to address them in the beginning of the next Session.
( ) 3. Empathy Buddy Call
For more on support see,
https://sites.google.com/site/ecftrainings/references/facilitator-support
We have paired you up with someone else in the training.
Between now and the next Session, connect with that person and have a 30 minute mutual support call on Zoom, etc.
> Report back on how it went in the next Session.
( ) 4. Hold an Empathy Circle with Family or Friends.
Try to facilitate an Empathy Circle with family, friends, etc. before the next Session. You just need to find 3 more participants. Sometimes it is hard to get them to take part. One way is to say you have this assignment for a workshop and it would be a big help to you if they took part.
> Report back on how it went in the next Session.
5. ( ) Inviting others to take part in the training. Invite your Friends to join us in the next Training Cohort. > Report back on how it went in the next Session.

6. ( ) Building a Culture of Empathy
In our first Session, we spoke of creating a Culture of Empathy and placing Empathy at the center of such a culture. Important core values would be Empathy, Mutuality, Openness and Care. See more at: http://j.mp/CoEValuesThis is not meant as an exhaustive listing of all the values of a Culture of Empathy, but are a few core values that we see as promoting this culture. You might have other words or understandings of these values, and that’s fine.
Consider the Question: How do you see the Empathy Circle practice beginning to build a culture of empathy in your world and in the world at large?
7. ( ) Donation Reminder
The trainers are donating their time because they want to contribute to building a culture of empathy and spread the Empathy Circle practice as widely as possible. We know that if this vision and practice is widely spread, it will nurture greater well-being in the world. If you would like to contribute to supporting this work, you can make a donation by going to this Facebook fundraiser, "Help Design and Host a Free Empathy Circle Facilitator Training" or here on PayPal.
Warmly
Edwin
